Hadley Nunes

Hadley Nunes has participated in artist communities and residencies around the world, including the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Amherst, VA; the Vermont Studio Center, Johnson, VT; The Old American Can Factory, Brooklyn, NY; ’Iolani Palace, Honolulu, HI; The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, NYC; La Generale, Paris, France; The Watermill Center, Long Island, NY; Sankai Juku Performance Workshop, Toyama, Japan; and the Yoshito Ohno Performance Workshop, Yokohama, Japan.

Out of a visual and performing arts background, her most recent role as founder of the PRESENT residency is part of an evolving practice that aims to bring artists and students together to explore and experiment within a context of local community and global engagement. Hadley is a member of Lana Lane Studios where she plays a collaborative role in the studio’s formation of a professional network and community in the arts.
