Florence Carbonne

Florence Carbonne’s illuminated sculptural installations are part of a socially engaged practice that experiments with the viewer’s senses and perception of space. Site-specific and playful, Florence employs inexpensive materials such as chicken-wire, fishing line, plastic bags, and light to produce spatially-aware forms activated through staged interactions with elements such as light or wind.

Florence lives and works in Toulouse, France and has shown her work in Canada, France, Ice-land, Spain, and the United States.
